VISION
To help instill the SMIs and SMEs of the Northern Region of Malaysia with the desire to upgrade and automate and computerized themselves in order to increase the quality of their products, improve the productivity of their factors of production and lower the costs of their businesses.
OBJECTIVES
To advocate the interests and needs of the small and medium scale industries in the Northern Region of Malaysia
To help promote and develop SMIs and SMEs in the Northern Region of Malaysia
To organize SMIs into a more cohesive group with a greater voice.
To improve the efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and performance of SMIs through a series of well planned resource development programmers and road shows.
DEFINITION AND CRITERIA OF BECOMING AN SMI
Annual Turnover not more than RM25 million; and
Full Time Employees of 150 and below
